HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN

Karen Longford celebrated her 41st birthday last Wednesday. To the delight of the Mrs Longford and her colleagues at Eden Pharmacy, doting husband Wayne delivered a bunch of roses to the birthday girl to celebrate the special occasion.

EDEN RETAILERS

The Eden Retailers Group has a cake decoration competition running. The cake can be any sort but must be decorated in a Christmas theme. There are three divisions, up to 12, 13-to-18 years and open. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in each division. Entry forms are available from the Magnet office. Cakes to be dropped off to Georgie's Fine Jewellery by close of business, Monday, December 17. Winners to be announced at late night shopping.

10TH ANNUAL WALKERS' BREAKFAST

The Wheelhouse Restaurant will host the 10th annual walkers' breakfast on Saturday, December 15 commencing at 7.30am. Breakfast is $15 per head to include bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, tea or coffee. Christmas cake provided, bring along your own champagne. All walkers, partners, friends welcome. EDEN VISITORS INFORMATION CENTRE

The centre is in desperate need of volunteers to help in the Christmas holidays. Either drop into the centre or call on 6496 1953.

FAR SOUTH COAST BIRDWATCHERS

Final meeting for the year will be held on Thursday, December 13 in the Uniting Church Hall, Henwood Street, Merimbula at 7.30pm. A short AGM will be followed up by camera views by Max Sutcliffe. All welcome.

EDEN EASY WALKERS

Join Eden Easy Walkers on December 16 and stretch your legs for an outing to Merimbula Rotary Park/Bar Beach/Wharf. This is a level three walk. Walk Leaders will be Judy (6496 2175) and Valma (6496 2532).

EDEN MEN'S CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

Eden Men's Cancer Support will hold a meeting at the Men's Shed, 21A Maling Street, Eden at 7.30pm, Thursday, December 13. All men who are receiving treatment, survivors and carers welcome to attend. Phone Jack 6496 3035 for more information.

EDEN VIEW CLUB 100S CLUB WINNERS

Due to no meeting in November, two winners were drawn by Emily Wilson of Bianca's Restaurant at our Xmas dinner meeting on December 6. Loila Kolega with ticket 19 and Dianne Campbell (zone councillor) ticket 23. Congratulations.

EDEN PLAYGROUP

Eden Playgroup is held every Tuesday (except school holidays) at Eden Pre-School from 10am - noon. Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers zero-to-five-years. Come along for a great morning of play, fun and interaction. New members always welcome. Contact Julie Boller on 6496 1724 for more information.

NETHERCOTE COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Nethercote Community Christmas Party is scheduled for Saturday, December 15 commencing at 4pm.
