Eden Ladies Black goalie Lee Harris (pictured) holds her ground from a Merimbula attacker at home on Sunday.

The team lost by just one point in their tough battle against Merimbula. The final score was Merimbula four to Eden's three.

Eden Ladies White also suffered their first loss in 18 months on Sunday when Bega travelled to Eden and scored three goals to Eden's one.

They retain top spot on the Far South Coast Football League ladder.

Sister team, Eden Ladies Black, are just out of the top four with only one point difference between them and the fourth placed Wolumla.

Eden Men beat Wolumla one nil and hold fourth spot on the ladder.
